Tshirtsopedia Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

This app is operated by Abhishek Paul, the proprietor of Tshirtsopedia (“Tshirtsopedia”, “we”, “us”, “our”). We are the data controller responsible for your personal information when you use this app. For any privacy question or request, please write to us at support@tshirtsopedia.com.

2. Information we collect

We only collect the minimum information needed to run the store:

• Account & identity: your mobile number (used to send the WhatsApp OTP), and — when you add an address — your name and email so we can send order updates.
• Order information: shipping address, order items (including any personalisation like “Jersey Name” or number), delivery notes, order status and payment reference from Razorpay.
• Cart, wishlist & loyalty: products you save or purchase, and the loyalty points balance associated with your account.
• AI Try-On photos: if you use the optional “Try it on” feature, the photo you upload is sent to our AI provider only to render the preview. We do not use it for any other purpose, and we do not share it with anyone else.
• Usage analytics: anonymised screen views and events (screen name, product ID, coupon code, device type) so we can improve the app. We do not track your precise location.
• Payment details: we do not store your card number, UPI ID or bank details. Payments are processed directly by Razorpay under their own privacy policy.

3. How we use your information

• Sending the WhatsApp OTP to sign you in.
• Accepting, shipping, tracking and delivering your orders.
• Sending order-related notifications (order confirmation, shipping, delivery, refund) over WhatsApp or email — these are transactional, not marketing.
• Applying coupon codes, loyalty points and other benefits you have earned.
• Handling customer support requests and processing returns or refunds.
• Preventing fraud, abuse, or misuse of the app or our discounts.
• Understanding how the app is used, in aggregate, so we can improve it.

4. Service providers we share data with

We only share the specific data each provider needs to do its job:

• WooCommerce (Tshirtsopedia store): authoritative catalogue, order and inventory system.
• Razorpay: payment gateway. Razorpay receives your name, email, phone and payment amount to process the transaction.
• AiSensy (WhatsApp Business API): delivers your OTP and transactional order updates on WhatsApp.
• Shipping partners: we share your name, address and phone number with the courier assigned to your order.
• Google Analytics: anonymised usage events for product improvement (no personally identifying data).
• AI Try-On provider: the photo you upload for a try-on and the reference product image, purely to generate the preview.

We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.

5. Data retention

We keep account and order data for as long as your account is active plus the period we are required to under Indian tax and consumer-protection law (typically 7 years for invoices). OTPs are deleted within minutes. Try-On photos are deleted from our infrastructure after the preview is generated.

6. Your rights

You can, at any time:

• View and update your name, email and address from Account → My Profile / Manage Addresses.
• Log out from any device from Account → Log out.
• Request a copy of your data or delete your account — see section 7 — Account Deletion, or email support@tshirtsopedia.com. We will action verified requests within 30 days.
• Withdraw consent for optional features (AI Try-On, analytics) by not using them; core order/payment data cannot be withdrawn while an order is active.

7. Account Deletion

You have the right to permanently delete your Tshirtsopedia account and the personal data associated with it. Because this app uses WhatsApp OTP sign-in (there is no password to protect a deletion form), we handle deletion requests over email so we can verify the requester.

How to request deletion

• Send an email to support@tshirtsopedia.com with the subject “Delete my Tshirtsopedia account”.
• In the body, include the registered mobile number so we can locate your account, and confirm whether you want us to also delete your order history or keep it for invoicing.
• Optionally send it from an email address that appears on one of your past orders — it helps us verify the request faster.

What gets deleted

• Your profile (name, email, phone number, saved addresses).
• Your cart, wishlist and loyalty-points wallet.
• Any AI Try-On previews still stored against your account.
• Authentication sessions across all devices — you will need to sign in again with a fresh OTP if you ever return.

What may be retained

• Order invoices and transaction records that Indian tax and consumer-protection law require us to keep for a fixed period (typically 7 years). These are stored separately from your profile and are never used for marketing.
• Anonymised, aggregated analytics that cannot be traced back to you.

Timeline — we acknowledge every request within 2 business days and complete the deletion within 30 days. If you have an in-flight order, deletion is scheduled for after that order is delivered or refunded, so shipping and support can still reach you until then.

You can withdraw a deletion request by replying to the acknowledgement email before it is processed.

8. Security

Authentication tokens are stored in the device secure storage (Keychain / Keystore). Data in transit is encrypted with TLS. No system is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information with reasonable technical and organisational measures.

9. Children

The app is intended for users 13 years and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us to have it removed.

10. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we will update the Effective date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you inside the app before the change takes effect.
